Randy and side kick sailor
I purchased my first boat from a
broker. What a nightmare!
I vowed that while selling boats I would
disclose to the best of my abilities any and all faults that I
could find. People can make their own choices. Why try to
fool them and lose a long term customer?
To date I have not had a complaint from a
customer. Many of those who have purchased from me become
friends and I spend too many hours talking about their boat
adventures when I visit the marinas. It is one of my favorite
aspects of my business.
I think I have found something really needed here
in Canada, a site that offers cheap boats, one that offers at a
reduced price with the notice" you buy it you fix it" ,
we have adding this warning clause to all postings. We
want everyone to understand what they are buying.
Investigate, know what you are buying! There is a
reason the boats are priced below market value.
I can do most repairs on boats so if you have a
question and I have the time send along an email, sorry I don't do
computer support anymore!!
Just so you all know, I am a sailor!! not a power
boat dude! so although I can say what needs to be done in most
cases, power boats do puzzle me, I know ..I know the power boat
guys will want to send in their opinions, however let me say I'm a
"stick man" plain and simple...no varrrooom for me..I
get there when ever the wind gets me there and I like that just
fine.
Thanks for drop-in
Sincerely
Randy Desnoyers (owner)
